About the project
This Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) project for the development of tank farm and foundations in Gresik, Surabaya for PT Shell Indonesia was valued at IDR 57 billion with an additional USD 5 billion added to construct civil and environmental infrastructure. The year-long project involved a consortium including Duta Firza, Intimarindo Primacon and Bangun Cipta Kontraktor.
Scope of work
- The project mandated the construction of 6 (six) 5,000 m³ Vertical Storage Tanks (column-supported fixed cone roof); 2 (two) 1,000 m³ tanks; full civil works including tank foundations, bund walls, and drainage systems.
- The additional scope of the project included the installation of HDPE membranes for environmental protection, gravel filling, sub-base preparation, and the construction of external/intermediate bund walls.
